While many of my older photos were taken with a Nikon D300 SLR, I currently use my phone, almost always use natural light and frequently manipulate images and/or create digital collages.
If working on paper, using my photos, I often work with a computer generated image, have a fine art print made and then add pastel or colored pencil. If working on canvas, the process is similar, except I transfer the image on to canvas and then work with various mediums (oil, pastel, pencil) in many layers to create the finished image. Because of the image transfer process, these images tend to by smaller in size.

A newer series, “Fantasy Landscapes” are limited edition, fine art large scale (24″x36″) prints of images I created in photoshop using my photographs.
